Stage 4-Recasting the Canterbury Tales

After looking closely at both the feedbacks that I received for the two Canterbury Assignments, one thing is clear- although my points seem to be fairly well based and logical, there seems to be lot lost in translation. For example I wanted to recast my version of the Canterbury tales in another country, so as to bring in a few more added dimensions to the storyline but did not express my ideas well enough to appropriately bring across the ideas in my head. Further another problem that continues to plague my composition skills is the difficulty that I face in easily translating between my media.
The main problem that I had with my video in the second assignment was that firstly the slides were a little too fast and so the information was difficult to read without continually pausing the presentation. This may have been because I knew what the slides said and so I anticipated incorrectly that any other person will also compute the information just as easily from the quickly moving slides. Also, I believe that I was overzealous in hoping to add a bit of humor and extra creativity to the video by editing in some other video- which unfortunately backfired and led to the entire video looking slightly disjointed.
Finally I hope that this time around, I manage to work around the bends and improve on these important skills that will no doubt be used in the future.
